Alterations Manager

Manage a team of 5 stitchers to tailor, create, and adjust costumes for theatrical use. Address and solve a wide breadth of fit issues, repairs, and specialty design requests. Work in tangent with stylists and finishers to deliver high quality garments, on-time, in quantities of as many as 800+ costumes in a week. Also assist in client fittings, helping to ensure costumes are well-fitted and comfortable.

Stitcher

Worked alongside other stitchers to alter, repair, and create costumes for theatrical use. Stitched a wide variety of materials: suiting, performance knits, upholstery, and beading. Fast-paced with an emphasis on efficiency, working on up to 45 costumes in a day.

Chicago Mascot Company

Stitcher

Collaborated with managers and clients on design development of professional mascot shoes, accessories, and garments. Stitched materials including vinyl, leather, faux furs, and tech fabrics Patterned and created 10 pairs of shoes for professional mascot use

Ballet 5:8

Stitcher

Cut and sewed 40 children’s ballet costumes to full completion. Worked directly with the head of costume and aided in preparation of 30 adult costumes for the performance season.
